Join Veterans Exploration Therapy and the National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD) for an empowering Learn to Ski or Snowboard Day at Winter Park Ski Resort!
This full-day adaptive recreation experience welcomes veterans with documented disabilities to learn or advance their snow skills — whether on skis, snowboard, ski-bike, or sit-ski. No experience necessary!
Led by certified NSCD instructors, participants will enjoy small-group lessons tailored to ability and experience level. This is more than just a lesson — it’s a day of camaraderie, confidence-building, and adventure on the mountain.

- No prior experience required.
- All participants must wear a helmet.
- Weight limit: 200 lbs for sit-ski and ski-bike.
- No weight limits for stand skiing or snowboarding.
- NSCD does not rent outerwear, but some extra goggles are available.
