Join us for a day of rejuvenation and community on a guided hike at Golden Canyon! This event is designed to bring veterans and their families together in a supportive environment, offering a chance to de-stress and reconnect with nature and one another.
Our knowledgeable guides will lead the way, focusing on safety, pacing, and ensuring everyone feels comfortable and included. This hike is more than just a physical journey, it's an opportunity to find peace in the outdoors, share experiences with a supportive community, and build resilience. Transportation is provided from the Scheitler Recreation Center, making it easy for everyone to join.

Itinerary
- 08:00 AM: Meet and check-in at Scheitler Recreation Center.
- 08:30 AM: Depart from Scheitler Recreation Center for Golden Canyon.
- 09:30 AM: Arrive at Golden Canyon. Our guides will provide a safety briefing and trail orientation.
- 10:00 AM - 02:00 PM: Guided hike through the park, with stops to enjoy the scenery and rest.
- 12:00 PM: Trailside lunch break (please bring your own lunch).
- 02:00 PM - 03:00 PM: Wind down and prepare to depart the park.
- 03:00 PM: Depart from Golden Canyon to return to Scheitler Recreation Center.
- 04:00 PM: Arrive back at Scheitler Recreation Center.
